Double Major Programs
The Department of Sociology offers double major programs to undergraduate students of the departments of History, Philosophy, Psychology, Political Science and International Relations, Law, Western Languages and Literature and Economics. For the Fall 2026 semester the quotas for each department are as follows: History: 1, Philosophy: 1, Psychology: 1, Political Science and International Relations: 3, Law: 2, Economics: 3, Western Languages and Literature: 1.
Requirements for Admission to Double Major Programs
Application quotas and eligibility criteria are subject to change each term. You can track any updates on this page
a) Minimum 3.2 undergraduate G.P.A.(Grade Point Average) on a scale of four (This may be subject to change for the 2026-2027 academic year)
b) Should have taken at least one Soc course and passed with a grade of BA
c) Statement of purpose, one page, in English.
d) Departmental Evaluation
